Fri 9/20 @ 7PM
One of the seven shows in the Cleveland Photo Fest, currently on view at the Bostwick Design Art Initiative Galleries at Prospect and East 26th, is Pretty Intimate: Film and Fashion by Cleveland native Arlene Pachasa. Pachasa worked for several decades in New York and Los Angeles, was the personal assistant to Charlize Theron and Ray Liotta, photographed the Cannes Film Festival for seven years, and hired by the Frank Sinatra estate to help create a brand and style guidelines book.
She finally had the chance to mull over her vast collection of photos of celebrities and fashion people she had access to and pulled 50 images representing her work. Learn more when she gives an artist’s talk at the gallery on Friday September 20. It’s free and open to all, and you can check out all the shows at that time.
