Chef Josh Admon opened the Nubeigel bagel shop opened in Cleveland Heights in 2022, after moving to northeast Ohio from Israel. It offers another spot to acquire some freshly baked bagels, made on the premises in all the flavors you expect. Buy one plain to bosh, get a bag to take home or add one of a variety of schmears and toppings ranging from cream cheese, cinnamon raisin nut and butter to deviled egg salad, tuna, red onion and kimchi. There’s a menu of coffee and coffee drinks as well.
Nubeigel is full kosher, “under the supervision of Rabbi Mordechai Kaplovitz,” they tell us, adding, “All beigels are non dairy, vegan, parve and pas Yisroel.” It’s open from 7:30am-1:30 pm Monday-Friday and 8am-1:30pm on Sundays. Closed, of course, on Saturday.
