Nonprofit Spay/Neuter Clinic PetFix Holds Benefit “Pawty” in the Park

Sat 9/14 @ 6:30PM

The Euclid-based PetFix Northeast Ohio provides an incredibly valuable service. The nonprofit low-cost spay/neuter clinic estimates that it’s fixed 100,000 cats and dogs since its founding 18 years ago, preventing half a million or more potentially homeless new kittens and puppies from being born. It works with rescues, shelters, feral cat caretakers and individual pet owners, and because their sole focus is spay/neuter, they can keep costs low.

But they also need to raise money so they can continue to do this work. That’s why they’re hosting their Pawty in the Park at Lake Metroparks Environmental Learning Center at Jordan Creek Park (7250 Alexander Road, Painesville). It includes games, cartoon portraits of your pet by Jenny Campbell, a silent auction and a live auction, plus vegan and vegetarian food and free wine and beer.
