New Ohio City Vintage Mall Opens with a Dance Party

Fri 10/4 @ 7PM-midnight

Haley Himiko Hudson Morris and Cassie Trainer are well known for the immersive dance parties and other events they threw. And Morris is known for her colorful pop sensibility reflected in her Gordon Square shop Cool World. Now they duo have latched onto a huge space — 13,000 square feet — which they aim to fill with all sorts of cool stuff — and parties.

They’ve taken over the former All Things for You vintage mall space on Lorain Road, which they vacated after a flood last year (They’ve since reopened in Tremont.) And Morris and Trainer will be bringing vintage back to that space, but with their own special spin when they reopen it as Paradise Galleria this weekend. It will feature a variety of vintage shops on the lower level and a department-store vibe upstairs with themed sections and very likely, lots of color.

They’ll kick things off with — what’s else — a party taking place Friday October 4, giving ticketholders first access to all the vintage treasures. They’re inviting everyone to come dressed in vintage to dance to DJs and enjoy cocktails and dancing. Admission is $20; get tickets here. The store will be open for business on Saturday October 5 from noon-8pm.
