Music and Art Fill Front Street Downtown at Berea Arts Fest

 Once again, the one-day Berea Arts Fest will turn the city’s Front Street into an arts boulevard, packed with booths hosted by more than 150 artists, makers and local businesses. In addition to selling their creations, there’ll be art demonstrations including by the living statue JoyUnspekable, folk-art painter Anthony Kleem. illustrator/painter Billy the Robot, and ceramics from the Baldwin Wallace Clay Club.

The Kids Kreation Station will offer little ones opportunities to customize paper plate campers, decorate masks, make tissue paper flower and animals and design construction paper landscapes. Two stages will feature music including a solo stage for singer/songwriters such as Eric Gustafson, Chris Donley. Bill Sanders and others, while the main stage will host bands such as Hot Jazz 7, Bridge the Gap, veteran jamsters the JiMiller Band, the Chewy Center and T.J.’s Cosmik Blackout.

A lineup for food trucks, offering everything from burgers, Cajun-style dishes, Asian food, BBQ, donuts, ice cream and roasted nuts, will be on hand.
