Something new has been in the works at the family-owned, all-organic Mulberry Creek Herb Farm all summer. Anyone who stopped out this season is aware that the property now features the Mulberry Creek Winery which has been a work in progress all season. It’s a project of Mulberry Creek owners Mark and Karen Langan’s son Ben, who got experience working at area wineries such as Quarry Hill before launching his own business.
While it’s been pouring wines all summer, it will officially open this Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon. Bites Cater will have their tacos available, you can tour the wine cellar and the gardens, and enjoy Mulberry Creek’s first real, indoor bathroom, something required for the winery.
