Cleveland chamber ensemble Les Délices opens its season with a crowd favorite when it presents its program “Moonlit Mozart.” The all-Mozart program, featuring a group of the most outstanding period woodwind players in North America, put together by Les Délices Artistic Director Debra Nagy, herself a period oboe player, includes selection from Mozart’s operas The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, as well as his Serenade in C minor “Nachtmusik” (K388) for pairs of oboes, clarinets, bassoons, and natural horns.
They’ve have three performances this weekend: at First Methodist Church of Akron on Thursday October 2, at Disciples Christian Church in Cleveland Heights on Saturday October 5, and at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River on Sunday October 6.
