Planting season is mostly over (except remember to plant your garlic in October!) so it’s now time to think ahead to next year. If you’ve ever wanted to get involved in seed saving, now’s the time to do it, as your summer plants are just starting to go to seed.
The Cleveland Seed Bank is hosting am introductory seed-saving workshop this weekend where its program & education manager Dani Jacobs will share basic information on seed-saving: what it is, why it’s healthy and beneficial to growers, and how to get started. It’s ideal for beginners.
It takes place at the Seed Bank office at 3257 W. 41st Street in Cleveland. It’s free but please register here.
