Cuyahoga Valley National Park is marking its 50th anniversary, and from now until year’s end it will be holding events where people can join them in celebrating the multitude of resources and opportunities the park offers, including hikes, concerts and a lecture series.
It kicks off its Cuyahoga Valley Lyceum lecture series this week with landscape architect Sara Zewde of Studio Zewde which worked on the concept development for the former Brandywine Golf Course. Zewde has extensive experience in complex design processes that elicit the unique cultural and ecological qualities of a location. She’ll talk about their research into the parks history and its role as an urban national park. hear from Founding Principal Sara Zewde of Studio Zewde on their research into Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s rich history and how it stands out as an outstanding urban park. She’s the first of a number of experts who will be giving talks on the park.
