For the fourth year, Near West Theatre and the West Clinton Block Club are hosting the West Clinton Historic Haunts Walking Tours, a not-all-that-scary tour of the West Clinton residential areas of the Gordon Square neighborhood.
What’s “haunted” about it is the stories they’ll share from area porches about crimes, mysteries, urban legends and historical intrigue in Cleveland history. On the trek, walkers will meet some historical Cleveland figures including legends such as Moth Man and Bloody Mary. But the tour is family-friendly so don’t expect a lot of really gruesome stuff. And the walk is interactive; audience becomes participants in the stories.
Tours leave every ten minutes from 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday October 3, and 6:30-9:30pm on Friday October 4 and Saturday October 5. The tours sold out last year, so it’s suggested you grab your tickets now. Get them here.
