Yeah, we know — you just went to Pickle Fest in Akron a few weeks ago, and now there’sthe Cleveland Pickle Fest taking place downtown on Mall C. Rejoice, pickle lovers!
This one’s a fundraiser hosted by Greater Cleveland Volunteers to bring people’s attention to volunteerism while they enjoy such offbeat treats as pickle-flavored beers, desserts and candy, as well as non-pickle food and drink, and pickle-themed merch. There’s also a pickle-eating contest with youth (12 and under) and adult divisions to see who can eat a 16-ounce jar of pickles the fastest. Be sure you’re there at 2 to catch that. Billy Likes Soda will provide some music at 11:30am, followed by Centric Soul at 3:30pm.
