Final Weekend of Cleveland Photo Fest Includes Artist Talk — and CATS

Fri 9/27 @ noon-9PM

Sat 9/28 @ Sun 9/29 @ noon-5PM

This is your final weekend to check out the 2024 Cleveland Photo Fest, down on view at the Bostwick Art Design Initiative on Prospect at East 26th Street.

You won’t want to have missed the Catography show with more than 50 exquisites shots of felines by some of the best area photographers as well as amateurs who are just inspired by cats. There’s also a show of black & white portraits of all the mayors/administrators in Cuyahoga County by an array of area photographers, a show of women’s self-portraits, an exhibit of fashion and film work by Arlene Pachasa, a Cleveland native who photographed celebrities in New York, Los Angeles and abroad, the 5th annual volunteers show, a collection of work by Benjamin Colon-Nieves called Ataraxia and a series of photo-projection images by Canadian-American (and former Clevelander) Daniel Hertel-Cournoyer.

Hertel-Cournoyer will be speaking at the gallery on Friday September 27 at 7pm. Like the festival itself, it’s free and open to all.
