The Murch Canopy Walk at Holden Arboretum is still closed due to damage during last month’s big storm. But if you’re a fan of aerial views, it’s Kalberer Emergent Tower is open and in fact it’s centra; to a special event happening this week: Sunset on the Emergent Tower.
Join a group for an after-hours hike through the forest at dusk, then ascend the 120-foot (12-story) tower to watch the sun set over the trees. It’s a two-mile hike with 202 stairs to the top of the tower. The event is for adults and teens 15 and over with an adult. Meet the guide at the Holden Corning Visitors Center — and don’t work about returning in the dark. The guide will help you find the way!
