When Proof BBQ closed in late 2023 to prepare to move to the former Nick’s Diner space in Ohio City, owners Michael Griffin and Dave Ferrante looked for a new identity for the basement space under Visible Voice Books and Crust Pizza. It finally settled on Danny’s on Professor, a late-night spot open from 8pm-2am offering small bites, nachos and slices of homemade pizza from Crust, long after Crust has closed. Food is available all the way until 2am.
