This museum holds the archives of the History of American Psychology, the National Museum of Psychology and the Multidisciplinary Institute for Human Science and Culture.
Akron psychology majors have surely visited the Cumming’s Center for a class. The museum is also open to the public, displaying pieces of scientific history. Other permanent exhibits featured include, “Suffered as Women Do: Gender and treatment in U.S. asylums” and, “Sexology: Science & Sensationalism.”
