Mon 9/16 @ 6:30-9PM
The monthly musicians workshop presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, Future at the Cleveland Rocks shop on Waterloo Road will look a bit different this month.
Instead of a panel followed by four individual musicians performing two tunes apiece, the evening will feature a Songwriter’s Circle hosted by songwriter/educator/music retreat host Elijah Bisbee of TERRA Songwriting, with the evening mingling music and discussion of the artists’ songwriting process.
It will feature three other songwriter/musicians who have worked with Bisbee and TERRA: Ali Kovacevich, a keyboard player/backing vocalist for local bands Two Mile Moon and Solon & Friends who “aims to write songs her cat will like,” pop vocalist Corry Michaels who advocates for LGBTQ+ causes and proudly announces himself onstage as gay; and Tori Kurtz, a 15-year music industry veteran who was inspired by working with Bisbee to produce her 2023 album *Willingness*.
The evening is free and open to all. Register here.
