Patty Flauto is an abstract painter based in Rocky River, who has exhibited nationally as well as at regional museums including the Cleveland Museum of Art. Starting this week her work will be on display at the River Gallery in Rocky River in a show titled Variations: New Work by Patty Flauto
Her artist statement says, “The pieces in this exhibit draw inspiration from the perceptual landscape, capturing nature through the prisms of memory, sensory experience, and artistic interpretation. The compositions are dynamic and unpredictable, with elements that collide, balance, dangle, and hint at unexpected outcomes and intentional disparity through infinite variations.”
The show opens will a reception on Saturday October 5 @ 3-6pm. It will be on view through November 5.
The artist’s proceeds will benefit Cleveland’s Hope Lodge which provides a free place to stay and support for patients and their caregivers traveling to this area get cancer care.
