Throughout 2023 and most of 2024, visitors to AsiaTown wondered what was going into that former auto parts store kitty-corner from AsiaTown Plaza, where something was clearly going on.
By mid 2024, the wait was over when YY Time opened, offering a new culinary option with a food hall vibe and a huge menu to match the huge space — Asian restaurants seldom skimp on choice! Asian street food is on the menu in an array of options from dumplings and buns to grilled vegetables and seafood to “extreme BBQ.” There’s also a huge variety of fruit teas and milk teas to wash it down. (Yeah, there’s coke for the less adventurous.) YY Time is also promoting itself as a place for gatherings of all sizes and types.
