Tricky Tortoise Brewing Company opened in May 2024, reactivating the sprawling, centrally located 120-year-old space in downtown Willoughby long occupied by Willoughby Brewing which closed in early 2020 (pre-pandemic). Given the location’s prominence, it was a welcome opening, providing a place a enjoy some location craft beers made on site, as well as a menu that focuses on familiar pub foods, well done: sandwiches, salads, pizza, wings. There are even classic arcade games to keep the kids entertained — this is a welcoming space for groups of all kinds, including families (There’s a kids’ menu).
