Once again, the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership is holding its annual (10th!)Take to the Lake event to share the natural beauty of Lower Shaker Lake.
You can bring your own kayak, canoe or paddleboard, or you can try a one-hour rental from 10am-4pm. If you’re a total newbie, Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation will be offering lessons so you can take full advantage of that rental while enjoying the beautiful scenery and fresh water. Life jackets are required.
The day starts with a yoga session at 10:30am. At 1pm Dr. Roy Larick will lead a tour around the lake and share information about the area’s geology and history. There’ll also be community organizations onsite with information about what they do.
