Scorpaccita Pasta Co. opened on Larchmere Boulevard in summer 2024 following five years at Van Aken District where owned Peter Reuter ran a couple of stalls until late 2023. He remodeled the former Larchmere Tavern location in an Italian bistro, with a variety of seating areas including an inviting patio area.
The brick-and-mortar full-service establishment continues to serve the made-in-premises naturally fermented pizza dough and pastas. The menu features a half dozen pasta dishes, and eight distinctive specialty 12” pizzas ranging from the simple (red sauce, mozzarella basil) to one topped with local Killbuck Farm mushrooms, along with a small selection of salads, starters, and charcuterie boards featuring locally sourced Marchant Manor cheeses. A couple of desserts choices are available wrap up the meal. The food is enhanced by a relatively extensive drink menu with wines by the glass and bottle, beer and cocktails.
