Results of Last Year’s Local Music Census to Be Unveiled at Rock Hall

Thu 8/29 @ 6:30

Late last year, a group of area music-related businesses and organizations took the temperature of the local music scene with the Greater Cleveland Music Census. They asked anyone with a connection to the area music scene to fill it out and share their thinking about local music opportunities and what they had personally experienced.

The results have been collected, collated and analyzed, and now the key groups behind the census, the nonprofit Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, Future (CRPPF) and the Cleveland Independent Venue Association (CIVA) will share them with the public at an event at the Rock Hall Thursday August 29.  They’ll offer ideas and solutions based on the information they got with speakers from various sectors including city and county government will share their thoughts.  At this event, they’ll share highlights from the survey plus solutions and discussions to address your feedback and remarks.

The free event takes place in the main hall of the Rock Hall. Immediately following, there’s a free concert with Lilieae and Songstress Jo outdoors on the Rock Hall Plaza starting at 8pm.
