City Goods in Ohio City’s Hingetown neighborhood is a collection of hangar-like buildings, filled with a variety of small, locally owned businesses. And since it was taken over by Ohio City Inc earlier this year, it’s doubled its efforts to increase its profile and draw more visitors with markets and pop-up events.
This week they’re holding another Open Mic Experience with Poetry Unplugged. Artists of all types — poets, spoken word artists, singers, rappers, playwrights — whatever your talent is you’re welcome to come down and show it off. You’re also welcome to come down, grab a drink at the Hangar Bar and have a listen — and of course check out the shops. Sip and Shop starts at 6pm; the mic opens at 7.
