The popular free Wade Oval Wednesday summer concert series ended with a band on August 14, with one of the area’s hottest bands, soulful rockers Apostle Jones, headlining with a pair of their typical high-energy, guest-studded sets. (Vocal duo Mixed Feelings and rapper Tobyraps joined them onstage.) The evening, which was dedicated to LGBTQ+ Pride, also included a set by local trio Grumpy Plum and an intermission Zumba session led by Linda Hogan that got the hula-hooping, bubble-blowing crowd on its feet.
