Yes, it’s August and that white sundress sure looks pretty, but it’s time to get out the black garb again for another Dark Wave Dance Cave events at the Winchester Music Cavern (Did I ever tell you about the time I went to a Smiths show at Music Hall in August and was the only person there in pink cotton, amidst a sea of heavy black sweaters?)
This month’s theme is Discothèque Gothique, so DJs Mimi Dromette and Matthew Darkstar will be playing a mix of danceable disco, italo-disco, darkwave and goth for dancing all night long. Don’t look too happy, but get that booty moving. It’s 18 + with a $5 cover. Get advance tickets here.
