Cleveland Orchestra’s Back at Severance with Mozart and Bruckner

Soon it will be fall and the Cleveland Orchestra will be back in residence at Severance Music Center. In the meantime, for those of you not keen on fighting the traffic at Blossom Music Center, they have one last Summers at Severance concert this week.

Music Director Franz Welser-Möst will be on the podium as the orchestra performers Mozart’s Symphony No. 35 (“Haffner”), first performed in 1783, and Austrian composer Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No, 4 (“Romantic”), his first major success, first played in 1874 and later revised several times. In honor of the 200th anniversary of Bruckner’s birthday, the orchestra will be touring the symphony in Europe. Hear it here first. Get tickets here.
