This summer, the Cleveland Metroparks offered a full schedule of free outdoor concerts at multiple locations, with artists ranging from singer/songwriters to tribute bands. Things are winding down now, though, so you’d better hurry if you want to catch that outdoor music vibe.
On Friday at the Emerald Necklace Marina, you can dance with abandon to the swamp rock-influenced music of the long-running Cats on Holiday, led by Denis DeVito, whose accordion evokes the Zydeco/Cajun sounds of Louisiana.
Then, on Saturday at the East 55th Street Marina, join the 80s Ladies for a trip back to the MTV era of big hair, brightly colored costumes and quirky sounds. Bring a snack and some friends and enjoy waning days of summer to the fullest!
