For the past year, Cleveland photographer/designer Denyce Renee has been publishing a magazine called Violet Edge, dedicating to showcasing the work of the area’s creative communities in photography, fashion, music and art.
On Thursday July 25, she’s throwing a party to celebrate Violet Edge’s first anniversary. It kicks off with a cocktail hour from 7-8pm, followed by music from some outstanding Cleveland artists: hazy electronic dance act Wave Rowanne, soul singer Esther Fitz, Davidione Pearl’s powerful edgy rock project Blackout Rose, and Sly Vixen. The event will also feature a fashion show, a DJ and vendors.
