Shop Outdoors in the Country at the Peninsula Flea

Sat 8/3 @ 10AM-4PM

Come out to the family-owned Christmas tree farm, Heritage Farms, in Peninsula, and spend a leisurely Saturday shopping, eating, drinking, hanging out and enjoying the fresh air at the Peninsula Market. Vendors are spread out in the meadow, barnyard and barn, giving shoppers plenty of room to browse and chat.

The market has an upscale vibe, with handmade, repurposed, collectible and vintage items from regional artists, craftspeople and collectors. Each month’s market has a different mix of 50-70 vendors, virtually all offering unique items.

There are also plenty of edible offerings, including food trucks, so you can make a day of it. And each market features performances by area musicians. This week Ben Gage performs from 10am-noon, and Grady Miller plays from 12:30-2:30pm. Both the event, which takes place rain or shine, and parking are free. There’s only one more Peninsula Flea date this year, on August 17.

Now in its ninth season, the Peninsula Flea will host two dates each month. Future dates include August 3 and 17.
