Learn About Plants That Attract Butterflies at Holden Arboretum’s Butterfly Garden Tour

Fri 8/2 @ 9-11:30AM

There’s so much to see at Holden Arboretum’s sprawling 3,600-acre facility — lakes, meadows, forests, native plants of all types. You can ramble around the grounds making discoveries on your own, or you can take advantage of the knowledge and expertise of Holden’s staff and join one of their special horticulturist-led walks.

This Friday senior horticulturist Lori Gogolin will lead a tour of the butterfly garden where she’ll share what kind of plants attract them and what kinds of butterflies you can expect to see, giving you some ideas about what to plant at home. Meet in front of the Corning Visitors Center. After the tour, there are light refreshments and the chance to sit around and chat with other plant lovers as well as ask the staff questions about gardening.
