Wed 8/7 @ 6-7:30PM
Holden Arboretum in Kirtland is a great place to go to get out of the city and enjoy a variety of natural landscapes — woods, meadows, lakes and all kinds of plants, as well as the bird’s eye view provided by its Kalberer Emergent Tower and Murch Canopy Walk.
It’s also a beautiful setting for an evening of music, enhanced by the availability of food and drink for purchase. And this year, it’s presenting a music series in partnership with northeast Ohio nonprofit Roots of American Music. This week, the performer (s) is one of the hottest bands in this area, bluesy, soulful rockers Apostle Jones, with charismatic vocalist Mikey Silas fronting a team of topnotch players and back-up vocalists. This ensemble has been everywhere in the past couple of years, like a snowball gaining size and speed as it picks up more and more fans every time it plays.
The Off the Griddle food truck will be providing eats and the Spice Grab and Go Café cooler will be dishing out the drinks. The concert is included with regular admission.
