Deadline for Cleveland Photo Fest CATography Show Extended

Through Sun 7/21

The Cleveland Photo Fest needs your cats! No, you don’t actually have to GIVE them your feline companion — just its photo.

A couple of years ago, the annual event hosted a show called Going to the Dogs, which of course evoked the question, “When do cats get their turn?” So this year’s Cleveland Photo Fest, opening September 6 at the Bostwick Design Art Initiative, will include a show called Catography. And the deadline for submitting your own cat photos has been extended through Sunday July 21. Let’s fill the walls with irresistible cuteness!

The exhibition will be curated by internationally known music & events CATographer (and CoolCleveland editor) Anastasia Pantsios and judged by Cleveland Museum of Art Curator of Photography Barbara Tannenbaum — both owners of multiple cats. A people’s choice award of $300 will be given on opening night, and the judges will also award three $100 “Too Good Not to be Mentioned” prizes.
