For more than four decades influential college radio station, Case Western Reserve University’s WRUW 91.1 FM, has been presenting its concert Studio-A-Rama, usually taking place in the courtyard behind the Mather Building where the station’s studios are located. It’s a really nice day and evening of relaxing on the lawn, enjoying some food and music, and meeting up with friends from the local music scene.
Typically the all-day show features a regional or national headliner or two plus a diverse array of local bands. They have typically asked that bands who apply not have been on the bill in the last several years, so that keeps things fresh and avoids lineups of the same old favorites.
Right now, through July 31, they’re accepting applications for local and regional bands who’s like to take part on the show which will be on Saturday September 7 in the Mather courtyard. You can apply here. If you have questions, contact grograchel@gmail.com.
