Zygote Press has been providing a place for people to learn printmaking, practice their craft and show their work for going on 30 years. It was the first of a wave of such maker spaces offering classes, studios and galleries devoted to a particular medium.

You can support their ongoing work at Inkling (nice pun!) of Summer: A Solstice Benefit taking place at Worthington Yards in the Warehouse District (where the Yards Project Gallery happens to be run by one of Zygote’s co-founders Liz Maugans).

There you can enjoy the sunset in the beautiful courtyard while partaking of food and drink, live music, art-making, a live art auction, prizes and first look at upcoming Zygote projects. The evening will also feature a conversation about arts and culture with Cleveland Public Library Director Felton Thomas and Director of Arts and Culture Tiffany Graham Charkosky, led by Zygote board member, Sarah Spinner Liska.
