Walk All Over Waterloo to See Art and Hear Music

Fri 6/7 @ 5-9PM

In addition to numerous on going show to check out at this month’s Walk All over Waterloo, Bellamy Printz’s intimate Deep Dive Arts Project gallery will be opening another show by New York-based artist Beth Humphrey whose work was previously shown there two years ago.

The new work was created during what’s described as an “intense” five-day residency at Deep Dive’s print shop this past January where she created a series of monoprints and Tetrapak prints, the latter of which she learned from a Taiwanese exchange artist. Her new show features works that combine printmaking, collage, drawing and other media. She says, “”My current work is about creating sentinels or portals to organize this act of seeking meaning, objects with patterns, placed together with the information I am trying to make sense of. Markers and placeholders in the mystery.” Deep Dive will be open from 5-8pm during Walk All Over Waterloo.

And if the weather cooperates, you can hear two of the area’s best bands for free on the Waterloo Tower Stage at East 156th Street: Apostle Jones, whose expansive, soulful rock & roll has won them a legion of fans and graced virtually every festival and special event in town; and the warm, well-crafted folky rock of Maura Rogers & the Bellows.
