Photographer Michael Weil has worked to advance fine art photographer in the region with his Cleveland Heights gallery, Foothill Galleries of the Photo-Succession.
There, a few years ago, he showcased his own work in The Huebris Quatrefoil: First Stanza — Regarding Trees. Now the successor to that show, featuring new works by Weil, will be opening at Beachwood’s Shaheen Gallery this week. The Grande Quatrefoils (A Second Stanza) will present large-scale prints on German etching paper of his abstract images that explore the moods and reflections captured by the colors and patterns found in nature.
The show will be on view through August 23.
