Summer’s too short in northeast Ohio not to enjoy the outdoors. The Conservancy of Cuyahoga Valley National Park is offering an evening at Howe Meadow’s Indigo Lake that’s sure to put you in the best summertime mood.
Food, drink and music of all types will fuel this evening’s fun, kicking off at 6:30 with a trail mix and kettle corn station (open all evening), Found Sounds Steelband, and guided and self-guided hikes available. From 6:30-8:30, a casual buffet of food will be served at four food trucks with diverse menus of sandwiches, noodle bowls, wraps and sides. Abby Normal and the Lean go on at 8pm. From 9-11pm, cap off thew evening with s’mores around a campfire and ice cream from Mitchell’s. There’ll also be raffles with money going to CVNP’s trail maintenance, new trailheads and visitor amenities. Ticket money also benefits the park; each tickets includes a main dish, two sides and three drink tickets.
