You know planting season is coming because this weekend is packed with plant sales everywhere you look!
The plant sale hosted by Akron’s Crown Point Ecology Center in Akron, which works toward sustainable land use, continues for a second weekend on Saturday May 18 @ 10am-4pm. You’ll find plenty of native perennials to plant gardens that support the local biosystem, as well as heirloom and hybrid vegetables and culinary herbs for your kitchen garden, and organic gardening supplies. Everything is organic and non-GMO, and there’ll be volunteers on hand to answer questions and help you pick the plants you need.
