Holden Arboretum’s Summer Concert Series Starts with Singer/Songwriter Liz Bullock

Wed 6/5 @ 6-7:30PM

Don’t waste those precious summer evenings! Explore some of the region’s beautiful outdoor settings or take in some al fresco performances.

You can do both at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland on its Concert in the Forest series, which launches this Wednesday. The events feature a live performance by regional musicians, food, drinks and fresh air. This week, take in a performance by Cleveland singer/songwriter Liz Bullock, whose thoughtful and accessible original music contains elements of jazz, soul, folk and blues. The Off The GRIDle food truck will be providing eats, as will Holden’s Spice Grab and Go Café, and drinks will be available for purchase as well starting at 5:30.

Cleveland nonprofit Roots of American music is curating this year’s concert series, which also features Lake Erie Roots Collective on July 10 and Cleveland’s smokin’ hot blues-tinged rock band Apostle Jones on August 7. The trees will be standing at attention! The concert is included with regular admission, and admission is discounted on Wednesday evenings.
