Take a Spring Bike Ride Through the Metroparks with West Side Cycling Club

Sat 4/27 @ 8:30AM-3PM

The Lake Erie Wheelers is a bicycling club based on the west side of Cleveland that’s open to all cycling enthusiasts including families. Founded in 1972, it’s promoted all types of events and rides from recreations cycling to ultra-marathons. So whatever level of skill and experience you have, they’ve got something for you and other cyclists you can hang with.

They kick off their season with the Chili Spring Metric Bike Ride, which they describe as “a great ride to start the season after a long winter’s break from cycling” (except I’ve known some dedicated cyclists who ride all year round.) You can opt for several distances up to a 61-mile ride through three Cleveland Metroparks. There’s also a 29-mile ride for those who fear they might be a bit out of shape after the winter. There’s also a family-friendly 13-mile route.  Registration fee includes a chili lunch and prizes at ride’s end.

Register here and make some new friends on wheels.
