Come to a Meeting About Cleveland’s Proposed Protected Bikeways

Thu 4/25 @ 6-8PM

Since its founding in 2011, Bike Cleveland has been advocating for infrastructure that’s designed for the safety of cyclists and pedestrians as well as cars to encourage people to use alternative modes of transportation.. And some of its ground-laying work is starting to bear fruit. The City of Cleveland is proposing its Cleveland Midway plan to create connected, protected bikeways starting with plans for two major thoroughfare in and out of downtown: Lorain Avenue and Superior Avenue.

If you’re curious to see the plans and offer your two cents on them, there’s a Bike Midway Open House this week at Goldhorn Brewery at East 55th and St. Clair. Come enjoy a local craft beer and see what you think of these new infrastructure proposals. If you can’t make it, you can still offer feedback here.

It’s free and open to all.
