Musicians Play Indian Raga In Kent to Benefit Charity for Middle Eastern Children

Enjoy an evening of Hindustani classical music for a worthy cause at Standing Rock Cultural Arts North Water Street Gallery in Kent.

There, three masters of this musical form will perform: Kolkata Indian violinist Rupam Ghosh,  Kent-based tabla player/visual artist/music educator Joe Culley, and piano Leo Coach, an ethnomusicologist who teaches at Cleveland State University. They’ll perform an Indian raga Indian Raga for inner peace and transcendence.

A $20 donation in advance or $25 at the door will go to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund whose mission is “ to provide medical and humanitarian relief collectively and individually to children throughout the Levant, Middle East regardless of their nationality or religion.” Get tickets here.
