Cleveland’s Largest Community Garden Holds Gala Benefit

Sat 3/16 @ 6-10PM

While community gardening has certainly grown in the area in the last ten or twenty years the Ben Franklin Community Garden in Old Brooklyn is older and larger than any other such garden in the area, with more than 200 plots on a five-acre site. It includes a children’s garden and a demonstration garden, and regular hosts tours and other events onsite. Learn more about the garden here.

Its upcoming “Pot O’ Gold” Gala, taking place at Sachsenheim Hall is happening to raise money to fund the garden’s operation. The ticket price includes a buffet supper, beer and wine (Vegan options are available by request). Door prizes, side boards and basket raffles will be happening to raise more money. To get tickets call Mike Rompala at 440-829-3509.
