The footprint was smaller for Brite Winter’s 15th year and the temperatures were freezing, but there was just as much going on, with three outdoor stages of music, as well as a tent stage and DJ, lots of interactive art installations, an ice carver, and tons and tons of food and drink options. Of course the multiple fire pits were a huge attraction and you could purchase a s’more kit and make like a scout. The music acts, almost all local, were of higher quality than ever, with hardly a dud to be found. Among others we caught Jenna Fournier’s dreamy Kid Tigrr, Loconti’s classic-style rock, Hello 3D’s Latin-infused music, vibrant punk-infused rockers Lilieae, and Canton pop diva Anya Van Rose.
