Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Bob Frank is well-known in the Cleveland music scene from the many music projects he’s worked on over 50 years, most notably the horn-driven blues/R&B/swing/jump band Blue Lunch, and prior to that, the Hotfoot Bluegrass Quartet. In 2018 he left Blue Lunch to focus on his solo career after the release of his first-ever solo album, True Stories and Outrageous Lies, which is infused with all the American roots music he’s absorbed over the years.
Now he’s got a new project he says he’s “very excited” about called “Bob Frank’s Blues Symposium.” On the first Wednesday of each month, he’ll welcome a special guest to share the stage with him for separate and joint musical performances and a conversation. He’ll kick it off with bluesy rock singer/guitarist Kristine Jackson.
It takes place at the Jenks Building, an arts and retail facility in downtown Cuyahoga Falls.
