There’s no party quite like the Akron Civic Theatre’s Wine, Cheese & Chocolate, Darling! event, which centers on the aforementioned luxuries especially the first. More than 50 wines from all over the world will be available — white, rose and red, dry, sweet, champagnes, dessert wines, even the trendy organic wines.
And tastings will pair wines with cheeses and chocolate provided by local makers and businesses such as Marchand Cheese Manor and Mitchell’s Fine Chocolate, both in Cleveland Heights, Hiram’s Mackenzie Creamery, Canton’s Heggy’s Candy Company, Akron’s Indulge Chocolates, the Peanut Shoppe located just across from the Akron Civic, ZUZU Chocolates in Westlake and more.
For those who are overwhelmed, there’ll be recommended tasting flights to help you narrow your choices down. Then take your seat at one of the decorated themed tables and enjoy.
