The Cleveland Seed Bank’s annual Seed Swap, taking place at St. Patrick’s in Ohio City, is eagerly anticipated by area farmers, gardeners and growers of all types. It’s free to browse the numerous tables with seeds divided by type and pick up what you’re looking forward to seeing grow on your plot of land. And you don’t have to bring seeds: most are donated by seed companies and other supporters. In addition, the event features tables from nature- and growing-related businesses such as Rust Belt Riders’ Tilth garden soils, Meadow City Native Plants, and Cleveland Roots. There was even a table for kids to make art, hosts by the Cleveland Museum of Art, and food to snack on including my favorite: tabouli!
