Main Street Kent Debuts Its First Snow Day

Sat 1/27 @ 1-7PM

In northeast Ohio in January we’ve got snow and we’ve got cold. So more and more cities, park districts and organizations are deciding to make the best of it and celebrate it. That includes Main Street Kent and the city of Kent, among the many groups debuting a new winter event this year.

Kent Snow Day offers a variety of free activities for all ages in Kent’s compact downtown, including fire pits, a snowman ice carving demonstration, polar putt putt, Snowball Pong, Snowball Cornhole, live music by three local bands, and a winter scavenger hunt with free cake pops for everyone who completes the hunt. Stop by Main Street Kent’s tent for s’more making supplies and knock yourself out. There’ll also be games and crafts for the kids at several locations, and area restaurants and bars will be offering winter-themed specials such as hot cocoa flights.
