Cleveland’s Blue Lunch has been entertaining area audiences and filling dance floors for nearly 40 (!) years, with their lively mix of jump blues, R&B, swing, and early rock & roll, propelled by a three-piece horn section.
One way they keep things fresh is by bringing in special guests from the national blues/R&B scene for select performances. They’ll be doing so again this week when vocalist/harmonica player Tad Robinson joins them onstage at the Beachland Ballroom.
Doors open at 7:00 with DJ Pete London starting the party spinning soul and blues vinyl. Blue Lunch hits the stage at 8:00, bringing up Tad Robinson singing and blowing harp throughout the evening. Robinson is known throughout the U.S. and Europe for his soulful blues performances, his multiple recordings and his many Blues Music Award nominations.
