Visit the Maltz Museum’s Christmas Day Can-Can and Bring Cans of Food to Donate

Mon 12/25 @ 11AM-5PM

Pretty much everything is closed on Christmas Day — but not the Maltz Museum! It’ll be open its regular hours for visitors to explore its permanent exhibits of the contributions made to American culture by the Jewish community (with a focus on Cleveland’s evolving Jewish community) and treasures from The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery, as well as its current special exhibit The Girl in the Diary: Searching for Rywka from the Lodz Ghetto, based on a journal kept by a Polish Jewish girl during World War II.

As always at their “Christmas Can-Can,” they will be collecting canned donations for both the Kosher Food Bank and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and admission is “pay what you CAN.” (The canned donation is considered admission.)

There’ll also be a craft area where kids (and adults!) can make greeting cars welcoming refugee and immigrant families to Cleveland.
